Industrial mechanic at BRAUER
As a mechanical engineering company with 50 employees in Bocholt, we specialize in the repair and construction of industrial gearboxes. Our team works on industrial gearboxes of all types, sizes, makes and years of manufacture. We process around 600-700 gearbox units annually in our approximately 15,000 m² production area.
Typical applications in the area of our gearbox service are:
- Damage analysis and troubleshooting
- On-site inspection of drives, e.g., using video endoscopy
- Regular inspection of main and auxiliary drives
- On-site measurement and situation analysis to improve an existing situation or develop reserve positions
- On-site overhaul, installation and commissioning
- Consulting and support for the selection of standard drives

Your main tasks will involve working on industrial gearboxes weighing between less than 100 kg and 100 t or more. We process gearboxes from all manufacturers in a wide range of sectors. Your tasks may also include on-site assembly work at customer locations.

We provide education
Industrial mechanics - Industrial engineering
Training as an industrial mechanic takes 3.5 years. The dual education program takes place both in the company and at vocational school. At our company, a major part of the education program will be the maintenance, repair, and servicing of industrial gearboxes. You can also gain experience in the field of preventive maintenance on site at the customer's premises. We are happy to support opportunities for further education to become an industrial foreman, technician, or engineer.
